Wah!!!!

So long story short considering I haven't posted in over a year:

Went to the Japan. Oh MY GOD!!! For a whole semester. Yup yup. Slept for two weeks straight since I got back. Still missing it. It was like a vacation for me despite the fact that I had classes there and killed myself studying the lang. Sad thing is my Japanese didn't really improve as much. I figured as much. I think I would have to stay there for years to get to a level of fluency of any kind. And I didn't have any space for taking Japanese classes here. However even if I could my university doesn't offer anything for fourth level/year Jap so technically I would have had to do an independent study which can't at the moment. I actually have to focus on my major. ^^;

Last year as an undergrad and totally hating it. Applications, GREs, regular school work and the nagging call of the Twilight series which my roommate as finally got me to start reading.

Which btw, I stopped after the second book because I'm slightly upset about the whole JacobxBellaxEdward bit. Granted I know who she ends up with since my roommate would have killed herself if it didn't end the way it did. But I still can't make myself pick up that third book. Not that I have time to even be reading books other than GRE prep or school books but eh... I want to know what happens to Edward and Bella but at the same time, which I think my roommate exaggerated to the extreme, the torn Bella and her dilemma with Jacob. Roommate totally primed me to hate Jacob since the first book and now the hatred just grows and he hasn't really done anything, as far as I've read, in the series yet.

Oh well. I'll get around to finish reading after this semester ends and I'm done with grad applications and what not. Let's hope I can last that long. Can't want for the movie. Hopefully that doesn't trigger a need to read the books after I see. Can't really afford to get distracted from school.

And I need to find a job. O the joys of being penniless.

So just came back from watching the newest HP movie for the second time with my lovely mom...saw it on opening Wednesday night too. My opinion: pure eye candy. Fast pace and everywhere you look there's at least one hole. But these tiny little chinks didn't make me not want to see it again (hence the second viewing). Oh how I love eye candy...well I'm off to reread HPHBP before next Saturday.

Wheeeee!!!!! Just spent almost $200 yesterday on clothes and nonsense that I don't actually need. But I finally got a phone strap thingy that I've been wanting since I saw them on some anime show I was watching at the time.

I need to find fanfiction but no author that I read is writing. Arggg...

Well I'm off to look at naked bishies....not really.

So it actually snowed this weekend. A dusting. But nonetheless, white fluffy snow covered the ground for at least a couple of hours before it went bye bye. In the beginning of April of all months. I'd rather have the rain then this cold weather. And its suppose to be cold and wet for the Sakura Matsuri. It's last year all over again. AT LEAST I'm not volunteering this year and I can bring an umbrella...

I got a PS2 (relatively) recently. KH2 is so cool. Messed up that I didn't get KH first but it wasn't at the store when I bought the station. Eh, I'll come to it sooner or later.

Saw 300 last night. One reaction. AWESOME. I can't wait for it to come out on DVD. I sooooo want a Spartan for a husband, at least for the time being, we'll see how long this lasts.

Just got Deathnote, both movies and the third Infernal Affairs. Haven't watched them but I heard they were good. Hopefully the third Affairs is as good as the first. I love that movie esp. Andy Lau and Tony Cheng.

I'm kinda disappointed that I haven't found any good GW fanfics out lately. I've been craving a good 1xR plot, one-shot or series. Can't wait for the next chapters in certain series, such as Final Mission Status, but then again I'd wait years for the next chapter if it meant good quality which is kind of hard to go without since the writers for all the series that I've been reading are like the best ones out there. Kind of disappointed with the Church of Lemons this year too. I was expecting a certain author but she/he never wrote one. Not unless I missed it somehow.

Well I'm off to go look at portkey.org since it just hit me that I haven't seen that website since x-mas. And maybe after I findle around the internet for 4-5 hrs I'll actually get around to cleaning my room...like that's probable esp since I've been telling myself to clean my room esp my desk for the past 2 weeks...

Wheeeee....time flies. Anyway, watching Bourne Supremacy on TNT...got to say AWESOME!!! Loving how I didn't have a single midterm xcept for a Japanese oral. There was regular test in one class but that was blah. I've got to say, haven't really fed my anime obsession lately. So sad. Oh well. Haven't really read anything but school books.

I have to say, I'm not really all anxious about HP coming out soon. I haven't even reserved a copy yet. I was so disappointed with the last one. Disappointed sounds harsh...but for a lack of better word...my friends don't really understand what I'm talking about...I don't know.

One more week to go and SPRING BREAK!!! Huzzah!!!!

So...Christmas has come and gone. New Years was...what...yesterday. And today, well today is the big two zero!!!!! Good thing my mentality is still stuck at 17 or at least I hope it still is. Though...my mom and my friend's mom said that I still look like a 15 year old. Eh. I'm working again at the a doctor's office in my hometown until this Friday. Waiting on a reply to when my interview is for a job during school on campus. Lovely...not really.


Well I'm off to watch Pride and Prejudice...again...probably for the 20th time these past four days...

Wheeee.......Christmas is coming. I can't wait for the presents and seeing my friends' faces when I give them there's. I still waiting to see if I have a job for next semester. I'm in desperate need for one in order to pay for my metro trips to and from school or whatever from the apartment. Hopefully I get a call back from the library or the theater, mainly the library. But for now hopefully the place that hired me for the summer will take me back for two weeks or so.

Just finished Ikki tousen. Weird series, but whatever. Don't think it makes it up there with the other favorites, even likes. Why isn't there anymore anime that's actually good and not eye candy? Whatever. Me off to raid the fridge for something to drink other than water...

So finals are coming...Stats and Japanese. I'm not as worried at Japanese but stats is going to be killer especially since I can't seem to get a handle of the way the teacher phrases his questions on his tests but whatever...hopefully i still get a C in the class. First class to get a C in. Kinda was expecting it though since no one I know is good at stats. Why couldn't it be like calculus. I rocked at calculus. I hate stats...

well i'm off to finish a paper, do a stats project and then start starting. if i don't report in a week...u'll know I died from academic stress or some crap like that...

Anyway this means no classes for 5 blissful days...granted I'll be sprinkling those 5 days with school work but nonetheless, I finally get to eat normal food. College food = ramen noodles. yummi...

So...I have a bunch of homework to do. What am I doing? Obviously not homework. I finally finished The Dawn Star. Stayed up til 2 last night to finish it. I've got an oral tomorrow morning for Japanese...fun times... I'm going shopping Friday with non-existent money. Don't you love that kinda of cash? I know I do. My roomie may come.




I need a job...




I also need another person to do my homework. I still haven't started my 8 page essay yet. Its due next Thurs...at least I've researched it...maybe...hopefully I can fill up 7.5 pages...

So...went to go see Chinatown, DC. Dude does it suck. Well that was a disappointment. So the only thing that I was actually looking forward to at the end of this crappy week didn't live up. Well at least I have some fanfics to fall back on.

Watching Kill Bill vol 1 is slightly helping too...

Shoot me...someone...anyone...

So I went to Georgetown today with my friend. Helped her pick out jeans. Spent around $50 worth at Lush (this place is so bad for me but the soaps and lotions smell so good dammit). Ate a nutella crepe(yummi...) and drank a strawberry bubble smoothie. And then promptly got sick....or at least I felt like throwing up for about half an hour or so. Went back to campus. Watched my roommie and her boyfriend try and swing dance in our room. Saw the acappella concert with said roomie, boyfriend and another friend of mine.

So...I'm tired. And there's a looming tower of homework on my desk...

u gotta love life...

First week over! Yay...not really, but I like to keep my hope up. Japanese class is hard. I mean last year's class seems like a breeze to this one. Different teacher, different teaching styles. Sensei is more focused on speaking than my other teachers last year. Which could and could not be a good thing depending on how I look at it. Good thing is that it'll improve my speaking however bad thing is that I have to actually work harder than I used to and I think I'm going to scare my roomie even more so then last year. Stats is over my head a bit...mayb...I'm not completely sure as of yet. My honors class, the diseases and evolution, man that teacher is awesome. Problem, participation is required and granted I guess I would speak if my classmates weren't complete prodigies and whatever I say could be tens times better said from one of them...Psych as a natural science...the teacher...I want to maim her. 'nough said.

So I had to go grocery shopping so I got to walk in the lovely weather of DC...lovely weather my ass. I was totally soaked. I guess that's what I get for procrastinating. Figures when I decide to actually do something the weather doesn't want to cooperate with me...me tired. I think I'll cook later after I lay down...no naps...I don't do that until I'm sickly. Probably lie in bed and mindlessly flip thru the terebi.

I think I'm slowly going insane or developing some kind of disorder...that or I'm just overly stressed and anxious about school starting since I'm taking upper level classes. It's just one but there's also stats class and I know a few people that think that's its a tad bit out there and hard to grasp but eh...it may be different with me or something. I'm hoping for it. But its just one day before I die...if not physically but mentally. I can't believe that sophomore year is already here.


Dude does this suck. Gah!!! I'm breaking out too. Life is not fun. Really wished I could time travel and skip college and just land in a reality where I have an established job and and house. Too bad it doesn't work out like that.

Only thing going for me is that I'm watching hp gof right now. Except for the fact that that isn't even distracting me enough...
